Dr. Jakari Griffith, the Assistant Professor in the Bridge water State University is teacher, Friend and Social worker. A cycling enthusiast & has helped raise funds for charity. His partner fellow cyclist kevan melon & Jakari Griffith has made cycling popular among students in the university and have encouraged participation in various fund raisers.
Previously he was associated with Adjunct Professor at Salem State College. Jakari Griffith received a Ph.D. in Management from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before completing his Ph.D. at Nebraska in 2010, Dr. Jakari Griffith earned a BA from Florida A&M University (Business Administration), as well as a MA (Public Administration) where he developed a research interest in performance improvement.
His current research interest focuses on human capital development through the development of positive psychological capacities, better known as Psychological Capital.
His most recent work in this area includes a book chapter entitled Learning Motivation and Transfer of Human Capital Development (in The peak performing organization), which was co-authored by Dr. Gwendolyn Combs and Dr. Fred Luthans.

Both organizations encourage the development of minority professionals engaged in doctoral study and or are terminal degree holders who hold a faculty appointment at a university or college.
