Prior Griffith became a world famous Google scholar; Jakari Griffith had studied intensively to secure his Bachelors in Business Administration (1999-2003) and Masters in Public Administration (2003-2005) from Florida A&M University and Doctorate in Management (2005-2010) from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His interests and activities include volunteering, outdoor stuff, museums, nature, jazz, friends and family. He is also cultivating an interest in photography. Currently, he is the faculty member of Bridgewater State University and the visiting professor at Salem State College.

He has helped to raise money for charity “Bikes not Bombs” that sends used bicycles to Africa. He has taken part along with his partner, Kevan Malone, in the New York City TD Five Boro Bicycle Tour in 20011 and 2012.
